Presentation of the client

Flyer.be - "The Original" is an online printing company, 100% made in Belgium, specializing in offsets and digital printing of standardized documents. Offering a variety of communication supports for all types of events, professional and personal, Flyer.be - "The Original" is becoming the Belgian reference of the web to print. Founded in 2002, the company draws its success from a combination of multiple factors using a quality/price ratio, an automated system, and a constantly improved process represented via a simple and user-friendly e-commerce platform.

Issue

The story started in Belgium with a shortage of profiles and a lack of skills to accompany the growth of the company. The company was, at that time, expanding and gaining notoriety on the web2print market and was in constant need of IT and Marketing profiles. But the task was far from simple. If the difficulties of recruitment are numerous in a majority of the organizations, some sectors are more concerned than others and the sector of Web2print had just been born, which explains the lack of motivation and reactivity of the candidates. So? Recruitment difficulties? What can be done to overcome them?

ELAVI Agency offer

In 2012, we launched our partnership in job offshoring with Elavi to meet the recruitment needs of our partner Flyer.be and had managed to :

- Having a facility and availability of candidates in record time: A facilitated management of the recruitment process, from the dissemination of the job advertisement to the onboarding of the new recruit.
- Receiving several CVs: this allowed us to pre-select and sort the candidates according to a checklist of required skills for a better evaluation of the applications
- To have several types of profiles: young graduates, juniors and experienced in their field of expertise
- Reducing the duration of the recruitment process: a real challenge for our partner's hiring performance.
- Helping Flyer.be to increase its identity strength (for the benefit of its recruitments)
- Achieving good stability of the Flyer.be dedicated team: Some of the collaborators chosen and recruited by Elavi have been accompanying our partner for more than 10 years

When we talk about the skills shortage, we often evoke the war of talents. Because this is often how recruiters experience the hiring of an employee with rare or high-level skills. It is sometimes a real "battle" to attract, engage and retain talent. Engaging Elavi was one of the best strategic decisions I made for my business. The team met my needs and helped me to develop my employer brand while developing Flyer.be's processes by integrating it into the new digital transformation era.
